I'm confused...was 130/16 the az/el from *your* location? 16 degrees can
be a little low if you have significant horizon clutter.

Did the signal *sound* the same? Noise from my downconverter has a
distinctly different quality when it's on; 2m noise sounds different from
S-band noise. Probably due to several cordless phones in the neighborhood.
Is it possible your downconverter isn't getting power?
