Happy days (for most of us dinosaurs).
Even at that time 432.15 was outside the "normal" satellite band. One G
station asked the British regulatory authorities if it was legal and was
told NO. So he was the only G who was legally banned from using it; the
rest of us would have pleaded ignorance if arraigned - but no-one was.
Just goes to show that, when the rules are delightfully vague, clarification
isn't always a good idea. "When ignorance is bliss ..."
