Hi All,
I listened for AO-7 beacons on 29.502, 145.72 and 435.100 during the pass
over Boston starting at 11:35 hr. Heard nothing on these frequencies +/- .
Did hear weak signal USB activity on 145.59 - 145.61 as bird was receding.
Could only discern a word or two but not enough to understand what was going
on. Activity ceased when elevation declined to 2-3 degrees. Realize this
was not the beacon. Was it a terrestrial station working AO-7?
Were the beacons active on this pass?
Hope I had correct keps.
Regards,
Barry Hawkes N1BAN
