Hi all,
At the pass starting at 0739 UTC - very strong signals in mode-B, worked
a couple of stations. You do not need a lot of power - used 2 W, which
corresponds to 1 W at the antenna, which is a 2 times 19 element
Tonna.
At the pass starting at 0932 it was still in mode-B - but this time with
a lot of FM'ing. At the end of the pass it was much better.
At the pass starting at 1125 the 435.107 MHz beacon was on - but with
very small signal strength.
At the pass starting at 1316 again good signals in mode-B. Worked one
station in Europe and heard VE6EGN at the end of the pass.
High power on the uplink just seems to distort the signals - works
much better with low power.
