I have an IC-1275 and I can say that its a fantastic rig.  They are
extremely rare, and I found mine after a lot of looking.  The entire
x75 line (575 6M, 275 2M, 375 220MHz, 475 432MHz, 1275 23cm)
has been out of production since 1991 or so.  Sadly, Icom didn't
make a lot of money on these rigs, owing to their high cost.  Add
that 220MHz rigs could only be sold in the US, Canada and Mexico,
not many 375's were made.   The 1275's are rare as well, since
Icom didn't make many of them.  I've never gotten real data
from Icom on how many 75's were rare, but one estimate I
got was around 100 375's, and 80 1275's.  I'd love to know
how accurate those figures are.

The bottom line?  I love my 75's. ;-)
