I have experienced the same thing.  I use Uni-trac also, with NOVA.  I 
have NOVA all set up with
space-track and can download the keps and NOVA works great.  Uni-trac 
goes to the Celestrack
site for keps when you request "update keps".  With the added brackets 
and symbols it gets confused
and can not find the correct listing for the satellites.  What I did to 
get around this is to go to the AMSAT site and download the keps into 
notepad as a text file and save it to "uni_trac.txt".  This is the file 
for the keps. I just have to remember not to double click on the "update 
keps" on the control panel
or I have to start all over again.

I have not had much success in being able to change the destination from 
Celestrack to AMSAT.  But at least I do not have to do the editing like 
I was doing.
