Hi Eric,

I cannot speak for your pass, but SO-50 was just operational for me
circa 0418 UTC 9/9/6 over 145 deg E and -38 Sth. Had a quick QSO with
VK4ZQ ??? Terry. Orbit 19976

Just took the arrow and the HT out to the driveway to work SO-50 and
didn't hear anything.  I attempted to activate the bird numerous times
but still nothing.  Did anyone hear/work the bird on this pass?
