Hi Tim:
I listened to that pass, heard several stations but was not able to make a
single contact. Using full duplex, I know I reached the bird, as I heard
myself loud and clear. I guess the other stations had lesser luck with the
downlink side. I did not hear your callsign though.

I sometimes use a whip, a Pryme Al-800 telescopic one, but rarely with SO-50
as it is a tougher bird to work. If you are looking for better antennas, I
recommend the Arrow and the Elk ones.

Tried with a handheld with a whip, heard a couple calls but couldn't make
them out.  Anyone have success with a like setup?
