Hi Terry,

Some people think the bands they enjoy in their home country are available
worldwide. The reality is that they are not. 

While IARU has understandably been concentrating on defending the existing HF
bands and trying to get new world-wide HF allocations, 5 MHz and 7.2-7.3 MHz,
UHF and Microwaves have taken a back seat. 

There are no world-wide Primary Amateur allocations between 146 MHz and 24 GHz.
I'm sure we are all agreed that we need some.
