ARISS L/S-band patch antennas are fixed on MDPs (Meteorite Debris Panels) located on the nadir of Columbus, i.e. underneath the module. Most of the time, the vertical axis of Columbus is oriented to the center of the Earth and the ARISS antennas will be facing the Earth. Gaston Bertels, ON4WF
