AMEN FRED!!

I was making small regular donations to AMSAT when the thinking was
to launch the next HEO, and earmarking and doing it for that
purpose....I hope they are still earmarked for that event.

In the interim funds have been spent, I am sure for, dozens of other
projects...

AMSATS, other than NA have their agendas, and appear to keep on track
with them. ESA has been a big supporter in the past of
P3E and Peter and his group are proceeding with those plans.

I know many of our AMSAT-NA's head technicians are also heading in
that direction. Most members know who they are, and with my memory I
would hesitate to mention a few, and miss the other great folks out
there assisting with P3E...

I seems as tho the politicians in AMSAT have a different agenda.

The OSCAR 1 GROUP (Project Oscar) did it with no politics and
funding, and thanks to
Robert Turlington, G8ATE, we will be celebrating the launch of GB
ZERO OSCAR ONE (GB0O1) on 12 to 16 December. I haven't seen much
AMSAT-NA of that event either. And it would cost NOTHING!!

Looks as tho the goal is to spend money??? A profit motive lurking somehwere??

Of course money, to do things, is necessary today. but is seems to me:

THE CART BEFORE THE HORSE WILL COST EVEN MORE

                    Disagree: I learn....

               Pulling for P3E...
