Very good, John, Rob said he was a bit under the wx.
But just the fact that the callsign exists is a tribute to those
early hamsat pioneers....If some of the present users don't
appreciate those pioneers, at least England doing something about
it..Congrats...
Some AMSAT-NA members act as tho they invented satellite amateur radio
and swept Project Oscar under the rug!! So be it. The facts are there.
I'm green with envy that or present leo's don't allow a direct
contact with that callsign. So every contact I make, I mention the
callsign, in the very spirit of the event.
Congrats to all of you in G-land that made this possible...
Third world coming up for the USA, unless we get off our duffs in a
lot of todays technology....
