And a number of 'non-satellite' VK hams got a huge buzz out of easily
copying the down link directly - rare to have an ARISS pass at a
civilised hour in VK. Observing the reaction of local club members, I
reckon voice transmissions from the ISS have a disproportionately
positive effect in promoting interest in amateur satellites. Is the
promotional value of the ISS voice repeater underestimated?

Well done ARISS.
