Hi Chaps,

Most of the discussion on this topic is about not having a metal cross booms distorting  the antenna radiation patern.

I have a further observation after having a glass fibre cross boom in place for 10 years.  Its a great way to absorb wind energy which might otherwise cause damage. 10 element on 2m and 17 element crossed yagi on 70cms sway gently in 60mph winds but nothing breaks (so far)
