Hi Eric,
Well first of all I am not currently on the Board, so it won't be a 
re-election. I do participate in BOD meetings as VP Operations, although I 
have no vote. If elected, I foresee my primary role as representing the 
wants and needs of the membership. I am an active operator, and interact 
with a great number of the membership on the air, via email, and in person 
at the many hamfests and club meetings I attend each year. I try to bring a 
fresh point of view and approach to what AMSAT does, and increasing our 
openness and disposing of much of the dogma that has developed is a high 
priority to me. I'm not afraid of saying we were wrong, and here is how we 
are going to fix it.

Within the next two years I expect AMSAT to have at least one HEO in orbit, 
and another being readied for launch. I'd like to see more outreach to those 
building and launching LEO missions, although there is much happening here 
already. ARISS needs our continued support, although we could benefit from 
increased 'product placement' of the AMSAT name within ARISS. I think 
Suitsat-2 will do this in a spectacular fashion.

If elected to the BOD, the membership can be sure they will always have an 
open line of communication to me, and I am listening to their concerns.
