Hello Joel,
I tested rotor steering with SatPC32 successfully under Vista 32 with the
Labjack U12 and U3 USB controllers  and the HalloRotor USB interface.

At present only the U12 works also under Vista 64 because it doesn't use an
own driver but a Windows USB driver. For the U3 Labjack has uploaded a Vista
32 driver (beta version) that works.

I have no experience with other USB devices.

"Vista compatibility" with my experience with Vista 32 and Vista 64.
