[amsat-bb] Re: AO-51 downlink power ?

The command team has been adjusting the power output on the two downlink transmitters to match the changing eclipse times and the changing loads. The 435.300 transmitter tripped on a low voltage watchdog yesterday, but was restored halfway through the 1st pass over the eastern US. Ocasionally during the lead up to Field Day, the L/U downlink on 435.150 may be briefly switched to data to allow the command team to check telemetry.

We were actually running 770 milliwatts for Kids Day, which is almost twice the normal output, so you should not have had any issues hearing the satellite. How are you hearing the other satellites with 435 downlinks?
