Had a nice chat with Joe, W7TYN in Portland, OR this evening, from Auburn,
CA. The bird seemed to have more QSB than last night, or at least the fades
seemed to be deeper. We had to wait a few moments between talking at times,
to wait for the QSB to come back up tonight. Last night it was not as big a
factor.

Same challenge and technique in tuning the uplink as before. Seems
consistent that I have to tune about 5 kHz high to be on frequency. The
PC's clock is sync'd with NTP, and the Keps are new. Is it my rig, or is
the bird a little sharp?

Had a couple of good passes this morning, though there were only 4 stations
on. It was a good chance to talk yourself onto the correct uplink
frequency, which makes a big difference in fading. Perhaps more folks this
evening?
