Since this has been going back and forth on here, maybe if there was
a public announcement on how at least you will interpret the rule per
the AMSAT Field Day rules, this discussion could be wrapped up.

When I was on SO-50 and AO-27 Saturday afternoon as W7ON, I made
my single contact with a station during each pass. Then I was called by
other stations. I responded with my exchange and logged the additional
contacts. When I prepare the log and score it for submission to AMSAT
and ARRL, I will not count the additional contacts on each of those passes
as points. I didn't have that "problem" Sunday morning on an AO-51
pass... I made my contact, listened for another minute or two to ensure
noboy else was trying to call me, then I shut down the satellite gear so I
could go back to HF.

Another thought... under ARRL Field Day rules, satellites are treated as a
single "band", just like any of the HF bands. The ARRL Field Day log
sheets have no place to indicate which satellite was used for each contact.
I will note the satellite I used for each of those contacts, probably
in the right
margin of the sheet, for each contact to show I am counting for points only
one contact per FM satellite.

73!
