Re-entry predictions range from May 30 to June 6. Based on SatEvo, the elset
I ran on Friday gives a re-entry date of June 3rd.
Last chance for those folks out there who are capable to turning on and
listening to the RAFT transponder over the Southern U.S. Please, isn't
anybody out there able to do it? I started on the project just after
graduating college (my first job!), worked on it while unemployed, and built
the transponder during a hot summer night on my coffee table. I would
really like to know how well it works. Certainly, Bob Bruninga and his
students @ USNA, and the radar transponder team would as well...
Please see Bob Bruninga's website for details.
