Since M. Leblanc insists on subverting AMSAT's control of this list by
using spammer's techniques like sockpuppet email addresses, it's
obviously time to implement spam filtering technology at the
individual level. Most mail clients are capable of filtering messages
based on the content.

Of course, then we'll probably see further "Vi at gr@"-like spammer tech like "l U
c---l e B l- at - /\/ C" and "\/_e_T_W_O_d_W_e" to circumvent even that.
Ultimately, like most public forums today, I think this list will
eventually have to change to being whitelist-based.

A shame, but it only takes one bad apple to spoil a barrel.
