AMSAT has used the following band designators:
H or A = 29.3-29.5 MHz
V = 145.8-146 MHz
U = 435-438 MHz
L = 1,260-1,270 MHz uplink only
S or S1 = 2,400-2,450 MHz
S2 = 3,400-3,410 MHz
C = 5,650-5,670 MHz uplink and 5,830-5,850 MHz downlink
X = 10,450-10,500 MHz
K = 24,000-24,050 MHz
R = 47,000-47,200 MHz
