Yes, problem is, there is no uplink discipline. Everyone just
keeps hitting it harder and harder and over and over and hopes
their packet will win. This is human nature, but it sure ruins
the throughput and the ability of the little guy to get in.

Yes, only WIDEn-N is now supported. Trying WIDE2-2 will get you
a chance at a double hop throught PCSAT and/or ANDE or ISS. But
not over europe. A double hop would be a miracle since one
satellite would have to hear the other one in the middle of all
that jamming...
