Our outside temperature is now +1C and the rotor is working it is confirm water 
in in the casing and probably gets in by the drain hole that i never found on 
my unit and if there is any he will be at the top offering a very good moisture 
access point. Is it also possible that humidity succeed to form inside by 
temperature variation and or by entering by the joingning sections.

My model a Yaesu G-550 looks like the same as the Kenpro KR-500 and does not 
seems to have any drainage hole in the casing but this will have to be visually 
confirm. 

Looking at the exploded inside schematic picture of the rotor it seems that it 
is possible to drill a hole in the casing to drain this excess water? Could be 
someone who open one can confirm if there is enough clearance to avoid drilling 
through the gear/motor system?
