Hi Bruce,
You should be able to get plenty of telemetry. There is very little time
that there is not data flowing from the satellite, a matter of a couple of
seconds at most. The U digital downlink has not changed.
Because of the selected callsign for BB files, you won't see telemetry in
the WiSP window. You can use the TlmEcho program (or others, and a soon to
be announced sound card demodulator and new AO-51 telemetry display program)
to see the telemetry.
I know of 5 stations that have had good success this week using the L-Band
upliink to talk to the BB.
