Hello Don,
I suppose you are running Vista?
If yes, try whether the problem disappears if you (temporarily)  disable the
Vista "User Account Control" (UAC). If yes:  On my website (page Software) I
have a link "Vista compatiblitiy". Please read the section 1e (manual .....
changing of auxiliary files) for information how to avoid problems with the
UAC.

Before you re-install the program uninstall the program as usual with the
Windows system panel and additionally remove all remaining files in the
SatPC32 program folder manually with the Windows Explorer. The Windows
uninstaller doesn't remove all files. So, files that cause the error may
remain in the SatPC32 program folder.
