We really do need to nip these guys in the .... err ... (bud) ... and teach
them it's *NOT* like AO-51 where the "mine's bigger than yours" mentality
prevails ... (he means FM "capture effect, folks).
There are recommended operating proceedure notes on the AO-7 Resource Page,
lets encourage the potential newcomers to linear transponders to *READ*
them.
25 watts *EIRP* is more than enough to work AO-7 ... PROVIDED ONE USES AN
AERIAL and has a pair of those wierd things attached to the side of your
head ... (ears) !!!.
