There is a Software Defined Transponder that will fly instead.
I don't know all the details as I never got the information directly, but more "discover" this every time while reading AMSAT-DL Journal.
I have requested AMSAT-DL to send me the MODE-UV transponder hardware back, so I might use it in another satellite project... however I never seen my hardware back :(

Besides that, I discovered that there were more groups working on a MODE-UV  for P3e at that time (without knowing). After all, in my opinion it was a huge waste of my money and waste of my free time that I spend for P3e. I could have made several new transponders in the same time and have them maybe fly already on other satellite projects. So, thats why I now have developed this new smaller transponder for picosats as a privat project...

About my transponder on HAMSAT, it was agreed that ISRO switch transponder each one or two month. I know that it is not switched on that often, and I have send emails and letters to ISRO about their skedule several times.
Unfortunately the people are very busy by email, and by letter I do not get any response. As the hams are happy with HAMSAT I don't make a real problem  of it that my transponder is not switched on that often. One day the Indian transponder will fail, and then my transponder will rescue HAMSAT again hihi...
