The French National Society REF recently released their annual report, on 3.4
GHz it says: 

Dossier 3,4 GHz :
L’administration est d’accord pour lancer une nouvelle étude qui porte sur une
largeur réduite à 200 ou 300 KHz en début de bande et nous demande un dossier
complémentaire à nos demandes précédentes.
