[amsat-bb] pre-amp follow up

Hello All,

I received a comment that the SSB preamps draws excessive DC power from the
rig, and the recommendation was to use an external sequencer to supply DC
power to mast mounted preamplifiers.  Has anyone had a problem with blown
switching transistors in the transceiver of the Icom- 910; and does anyone
know what the current draw is for external preamps for the Icon, thank you.
