AO-16 is resetting almost every orbit now. The command team members have
been trying to restart the satellite as often as possible, but jobs and
families sometimes keep that from happening. This is especially difficult
with AO-16 given the times the satellite is overhead in the early AM and
during work hours.
If the satellite continues to last an orbit or so between shutdowns, unlike
this summer where it only lasted minutes, we may implement some options to
automatically restart it. I think this might be possible based on eclipse
lengths, as the reset problem is temperature dependent. Until then it is on
an as available basis.
