Hello Alan,
Thanks for the tip. I actually have a hookup for the 857 for digital modes
and just managed to test that out on AO-51. I confirm that the phenomenon
does not occur when listening to audio through the DATA jack.
So I have to listen through my computer. A little inconvenient buy way
better than buying new gear :).
