Hi Andrew,
Congratulations on the new radio! I'll be interested to hear your 
impressions of it as I'm pretty sure it's going to be my next radio as soon 
as I can swing it. I used to have a TS-2000X that I had to sell. I can't 
quite afford another one of those and just think I'll try something 
different this time. The only other radio I've been looking at is the FT-847 
because it has HF too but they are somewhat hard to find and I'm a bit leery 
of  used equipment.
