[amsat-bb] Fo-20 status?

According to what I have been able to find online, FO-20 was in a state similar to that of fo-29 when it was "taken out of service" due to battery performance issues.  Does this mean, that it might still work while illuminated?  Currently it is in continuous-sunlight, which would be very handy if all that was required is for the bird to be "enabled" even for just this period of constant-sunlight.
Is anyone here able to add to, or subtract from this?
