Yes, they are both different events that occur at the same time. AMSAT 
uses the same start time and date and ending time and date as the ARRL 
Field Day. All AMSAT Field Day rules are available at the AMSAT web 
site. In the *Site Quick Reference* choose Field Day Competition.
