[amsat-bb] Re: FO-29 and Field Day?

I think that FO29 shuts off all transmitters always just before it gets to 
NA because of power problems which cause it to become silent at eclipse. 
Then it must be manually re-started by japanese groundstations during their 
available daylight passes, mostly ascending ones. That's why it is never 
heard over NA. This was discussed a few months ago on the BBS, so the 
original discussion should be available online in the various archives.
