One other note.  The D7 can be set to DCD-IGNORE so that it will
TX as needed even though the downlink is solid data, but the
D700 will not TX until the downlink drops.  For FD this will be
a problem since not only your's but everyone else's D700 TX's at
that instant.  

This is normally not a problem at all, since few people are
using APRS on GO32 routinely at the same time.  But for Field
Day, it will be better to force your TX while the downlink is
up, so that you won't collide with anyone else...  To do this,
simply QSY the downlink knob for a split second so your TX will
get out.  You have to tune the downlink for Doppler anyway...
