VO-52 is an inverting transponder, which means the SSB sense is flipped from 
upper to lower and vice versa. Also the frequencies are flipped. What goes 
in as LSB on the bottom edge of the transponder comes out as USB on the top 
edge, if that makes sense. Doing it this way helps cancel some of the 
Doppler shift as seen from the ground. The convention on inverting 
transponders is LSB up, USB down.
