I have a couple of these.  I think they are meant for "permanent" 
installation.  What I did was to create a wiring harness of sorts.  I 
soldered one wire to a alligator clip and one to a soldering lug.  The 
soldering lug goes underneath a screw.  The alligator clip goes to the 
other "pin".
