They look like residential grade C-band and Ku-band dishes with LNB- 
type feeds to me, am I missing something?

*Transceivers* typically have a lot stouter cable or waveguide going  
to the feed, might have radiation symbols on the feed housing along  
with printed warnings not to get between the feed and the dish, and  
often a fence around the dish to keep people out of the near field.   
Those dishes are on GEO-style mounts, without az/el servos as far as I  
can tell, and C-band and Ku-band GEO sat uplinks tend to require  
pretty respectable amounts of power, and usually rather noticeable  
precautions are required for safety on those.  (The mobile uplink  
truck a friend of mine used to operate used a stack of two 600W TWT  
amps to get to sat uplinks on Ku-band analog.)

Nice KTI mesh C-band dish, though, wouldn't mind getting hold of that  
if I had room in the backyard .. :D
