Dick,

Thanks for the input.  I should have added that I preserved a copy of the
version 12.7 installation, and when I run SuM from there, it starts
correctly and gives reasonable values.  Also, when run from the version
12.8, while you can get past the error message, the rotator driver does not
start.  I am using the LabJack interface.
