This is being done by Steve Dimse k4hg. Steve is working on app approval
from Apple for the application which ties to Findu and several other servers
I believe. More info is in the APRSSIG archives.
Looking forward to the Sat tracking app for iPhone as well!

A bit off-topic, but has anyone considered writing an application for
the iPhone that spits out position reports to the APRS internet
gateways? It would make a phone self-tracking.
