Hi,
A similar note book computer manufactured by HCL ( India) and using Windows  
XP has been on sale in the UK for the past few months.  It retails at  £169.00.
I have used it for tracking and presentations  with a projector or  external 
display.  But it has been most useful at many locations  with an Arrow antenna 
and HT radio for satellite work.
Also ideal for travelling whether it be by air, sea or land as it can be a  
useful of way of storing information
and photo's to demonstrate etc.   It does have hard drive but not  a CD 
device, but that it not a problem as I 
also use memory sticks which are so cheap these days.
