That particular thing happens when the VC-H1 is left on and the
battery runs down. Obviously Richard accidently left the VC-H1 on. I
have accidently done that many times. When there is not enough power
to run the camera there is a blank screen but the other electronics is
still running and it captures a blank image and sends it down. Since
the transmitter is powered separately so it's not bothered by the
battery running down.
