FYI:

Telegartner make Male (Part # B3426) and Female (Part # B3026) Type N crimp
connectors for LMR 400 cable.
According our local Huber & Suhner agent and cable guru, these will crimp
on to both LMR 400 Ultraflex stranded inner cable, and Suhner LMR 400 solid
copper inner cable.
The inner pins can be soldered on to copper coated solid aluminium inner
LMR 400 cable such as Times Microwave.
The bodies are nickel plated, and the inner pins are silver plated. Nickel
is not reccommended for any professional / large radio site installations
because of oxidation / intermod. problems.

Suhner and Rosenberger both make slip fit connectors for solid inner LMR
400 cable. Stainless steel bodies with gold plated inner pins. Very high
quality, and no special tools required; just a knife!
