I have operated AO-7 when there appears just a sliver of sun exposure, with very good downlinks. This is one hardy satellite and we should nurse it along as best we can. Right now it is our HEO.

What time were you doing this? AO-07 only works when it's in the sun. Also, it can be in one of two modes, and it looks from http://oscar.dcarr.org/index.php that it's just about time to be finishing up the mode B cycle, and switching back to mode A.
