One more departure from the topic. I have no noise problems with the
exception of occasional tire static on certain types of pavement. I have an
IC-7000 and a TH-D7 both installed. I operate 75 meters through 70 cm all
modes. The vehicle is a 2006 VW New Beetle Diesel. I considered a hybrid at the
time of purchase but opted for the Diesel.
