Hi Mike,
I think anyone who has ever assembled one of these in a hurry has done the same thing. I know I have, maybe even more than once!

>I know one thing. I just recently installed a 5500 and a seperation kit with 4 ft. seperation between rotors. I calibrated both rotors at north/zero degrees and installed the antennas. With the antennas mounted and elevation moved to 45 degrees, the antennas moved down 45 degrees towards ground. No matter how I installed the antennas they always elevated downward. I know I wired it right. I stood on a ladder for 10 minutes looking and just staring wondering what was wrong or what I did. I finally positioned the elevation rotor 180 degrees around the mast, duh. There may be a reason for showing the setup picture such as it is.
