I will second that recommendation.  I took a series of pictures of my new
rig, sent them to Stephen, and he came up with a recommendation which is a
perfect fit for the DJ-G7.  It may not be on that list, but he will know
which one you need.  It will even handle the Pryme AL-800 antenna.  Probably
the best made component on my rig.  ;)  He runs a small operation, but is a
real craftsman.

I hope you didn't order the Yaesu CN-3 adapter. It should be taken off the
market. It provides absolutely no protection/strain relief to your new HT's
SMA connector when in use.

Stephen Gulyas makes "intelligent" BNC-toSMA adapters ... which have a hard
rubber gasket that "mates" to the top of a radio. VERY protective from the
stress and strain we place on our radios when changing out antennas.
