Al, 
I don't know what time you are referring to on AO-51. 
The first pass on the west coast (01:04Z)  was OK, 
Had  exchanges with  KE5GDB and VE7VW with no 
problems.  Good pictures both ways.  

The second pass was completely quiet. I called on voice 
several times and sent CQ pictures with no reply

I did hear some  Spanish voices in there a couple of times, 
and a couple of other unidentified voice transmissions.
